Some clients are opting not to have a blog platform on their websites for one reason or another. This was the case recently, with the owners of Orlando Interiors by Design. This company felt they were just too busy to keep the blog updated and did not want to hire a professional blogger due to budget restraints. They were looking for a responsive site, which could be used by their many mobile viewers, without a blog platform.
For SEO purposes, they have elected to keep the social media accounts up to date, using this method to attract search engines, rather than blogging on the site. The new re-designed site launched on January 2, 2015 and the company feel it meets all of their expectations for a new responsive design.

If you are a new entrepreneur and you have several social media accounts such as Facebook, Google Plus, etc., then all should be kept current with new content to help with SEO and to attract new online traffic. LinkedIn is by far, the largest professional social network on the web today. It is a valuable platform to use when publishing white papers and other company information. By doing this you can boost the website traffic and increase your brand profile within your own industry. This method works best when you have a following (moderate to large). Make sure your social media accounts are considered “company accounts.” Keep all personal information off the company social media accounts for best results.
Internal and reciprocal linking strength:
Adding a helpful links page will help to grow your website traffic. We call this internal linking. Add only those links that are professional and valuable as they relate to your expertise. By doing this, your internal linking value will grow exponentially and pay off big in the future. These links also serve to give the user a better reading experience. Another linking method is referred to as reciprocal linking strategy. This requires you to ask to exchange links with others in your industry (not competitors). This is a strong networking opportunity you should consider as you work hard to build a linking community of relevant and valuable links of interest.
Developing a frequently asked questions page (FAQ):
Experience teaches us that an FAQ page is definitely a plus for your website. This page will rank in importance with the home page and with the contact page, since visitors love to read this page first, to quickly get their important questions answered. They prefer to learn about the company before they are required to make direct contact with the dreaded “sales person.” This page has also proven it’s value with search engines since it offers facts, selling points, features and benefits which help you stand out in the crowd of competitors.
