What is included in the $795 website design package?
This design package includes a WordPress Content Managed platform with three html pages for your unique content. The WordPress platform allows you (the site owner) to make content changes on your own without having to depend upon a programmer when an edit is needed. This in itself is a huge advantage. The starter website is responsive and mobile-friendly for those searching online using mobile devices. The website will be beautifully customized to represent your own unique brand. You’ll be proud to show-off the new reveal to friends and customers.
How long will the design work take to complete?
Depending upon our immediate workload, the smaller starter site should take only a few weeks to complete. This will of course depend upon you and how quickly you book the design work. Book early to insure a faster completion date.
What about site promotion (SEO) Search Engine Optimization?
If you decide you would also like to discuss SEO (Search Engine Optimization) for promoting the site, we will schedule a separate SEO meeting for this. This SEO appointment will take about one hour and you will go home with information to get up to speed on what Google and top search engines are looking for. This information will equip you with more knowledge as you begin to become familiar with promoting your site online.
After the site is launched it is important to add new content to the website as often as possible. The client can do this themselves for “free” or hire a professional. At the SEO meeting we will discuss different solutions for promoting the new website.

What is required from the client?
Once you contact us regarding the holiday package, we will set up a brief meeting with you (should you be a local client). If you are out-of-town we can set up a brief conference call to speak with you and determine if the package is perfect for the project requirements. When the project begins, the client will provide all content for pages, We suggest about 300 words for the home page (introductory content) and about 350 for other content rich pages.
Images for the web site and the professional logo:
The client will send us any images to be considered. The images we receive should be in jpg or png format and at least 2,000 pixels in height. We ask that only raw image files are provided. No altered images are allowed since we need to do the image editing ourselves. This allows the programmer to edit the image to fit within each layout. Additionally, the client will also provide the company logo in digital format. If no professional logo is available you may contact our graphic artist to prepare one for you. Another option is to have us use a simple text logo instead.
SEO (Search Engine Optimization) for the html source code:
As the site is developed, the programmer will add individual meta tags to the html source code for each page. Most browser windows will display this title tag at the top of the browser window and it is a powerful tool to direct the search engine bots as to your particular expertise. Not having this title tag on the individual pages can cause problems. Without the title tag, the software will display a default title instead and this usually says “untitled document.” One of the biggest advantages to using a professional design team is knowing they will properly tag all pages correctly.
Site completion and search engine submission:
The search engines today are very savvy and there is no need to continually submit the site every month. This practice is still done by many site owners that are not aware of the new Google algorithm. We submit the site only once in order to present the new content to the search engines. They will scan the new information quickly once we publish the new site. Going forward however it is the client’s responsibility to promote the website by adding new content to the site. If no new content is added consistently, the site will soon fall behind other competitors.
