Over the summer of 2014, we developed several new WordPress sites (all of them are mobile friendly). Even though our banks, credit unions, financial firms and news outlets still prefer a Drupal platform, the smaller entrepreneurs most often ask for WordPress since the backend is user-friendly and can be learned quickly by most website owners.
Dentistry At Lake Nona chose a WordPress platform to be able to edit their site content as needed. They did not want to wait for the webmaster to make changes. With a training session under their belt, they were able to change text, add new specials and keep their site current for clients and visitors. They are happy with the new site and looking forward to a successful year ahead. Their “testimonial” page was very unique, located in the client’s patient portal section of the website. Each new testimonial is imported to be displayed as they are received. The new home page testimonial from the Doctor was a great addition as well.
Palm State Mortgage also chose a WordPress Mobile Platform for their new site redesign this summer. They are planning to add a personal video to the home page welcoming visitors and are working on their first newsletter from Campaign Monitor. Real estate has seen a slight move upward over the summer, but many companies are still struggling to maintain their client base and to attract new customers. We are happy to be a small part of their continued success. We wish Pearl and her team good luck with their new website. They are thrilled to have visitors use their new site’s mobile view to contact them. New bells and whistles are always welcomed by our clients.
Winter Park Dental Surgeon chose a custom responsive platform (instead of WordPress). They will not be making many changes on the site and preferred a more custom (one of a kind look). Their navigational system is easy to use and the site features a “site map” which offers more usability. They love their “team” page which offers a personal look at the staff and Dr. Abufaris. The staff is busy taking pictures of their front office area to be featured on the “First Visit” page later this month. They will also be adding video presentations to educate the viewer on special procedures offered by the dental firm. This site’s mobile view is completely custom and unlike their old site, it allows users and current clients to access the site easily from their mobile devices.
