The navigational menu should be near the top of the website and easily able to be used. Another important tip is to what we refer to as a sticky menu will allow the menu options to follow the user and be available at all times while the consumer is searching the site. Add any slideshow or video presentation on the home page. Add a search bar and any social media icons in the header (either at the top or the bottom of the landing page (home page).
Add a descriptive phrase that is keyword focused near the top of the landing page. This phrase should clearly define your service offered. This web design addition will assure the visitor that they are on the right website which will offer them the product or service they’re looking for. It is also a great idea to add a bulleted list of your top services near the top of the page. As you develop the page content, remember to be diverse and include all target markets. Adding a paragraph to explain your mission statement is also a good addition. Your brand will stand out and be identified first as the visitor enters the website.

- Avoid loud or hectic color palates
- Add call-to-action buttons throughout the site
- Stick to responsive design on all pages

- Add an email to the site

Meta tags refer to the data about each and every page of the site and are important web design elements that cannot be overlooked. These descriptive words are placed in the source code behind the scenes of your web design. They are easily seen by search engines scanning your site for relevance. They make it easier for search engine bots to know what our content is all about. They are very vital for SEO (search engine optimization). Without these meta tags, your site is not going to receive the results you expect.
Stay clear of carousels & rotating sliders:
The web design strategy of using elaborate carousels, slideshows, and changing images are no longer suggested by top search engines. Although they were popular in the years past, it has now been proven that the viewer is not always going to see all slides shown and this presents a real problem. There have been many studies based on this strategy. It was concluded that visitors were not likely to see all slides and messages presented since they had a tendency to click through quickly to other pages of the site. We find it best to choose one great image at the top header and use other images throughout the site to identify a brand.

Strong people images help with conversion rate and help your brand to remain human. Using faces along with client testimonials is an especially strong medicine for building web traffic. Choose images that represent your brand well and tell your story. Use individual images in a slideshow presentation, within an image gallery, and also for a background image.
