All website pages must concentrate on having well-written content. It is a good idea to have a freelance writer or creative marketing individual provide this content for best results.
Google has refined its method to allow every searcher to find the exact result they want as the first result on their first search. Keep ads and other unwanted such as “pop-up ads, etc” off the web pages for the best results in search engine criteria. Do not attempt to stuff keywords. Google and other search engines can see through that. Make sure that content is unique on all pages. Do not re-use text from page to page.
By updating the website’s content (blog posts, etc) frequently, your business will have the right content, fresh and new. This will result in higher search rankings.

The keywords you select will determine who can see you and who cannot based upon the words the searchers are looking for. Putting unique keywords page by page will increase your visibility. First, determine what the page content is about and then choose the top few keywords following that method. Search engines are ranking individual pages, rather than entire sites as a whole. Next you must determine which keywords will attract your target audience.
Take a look at your competitor’s keywords and see if you are on track adding your own. Try not to put the same sentence strings from page to page. Come up with different word strings which explain the service or product in a better way.
Example: A client might be looking to invest in a particular item such as a new sofa. They will go on line and search sofa manufacturers by first looking at the ones they are familiar with. They may search for reviews from others. They might then look at sites offering used as opposed to new sofas such as Ebay, etc. They may use search terms like “new sofa, used sofa for sale, etc. This is an informational search. People looking to make big purchases (like cars, electronics, etc) might spend more time researching their options.
Depending on where the searcher is in their buying cycle, they may or may not be looking to make a final decision. Cover all bases by having appropriate keywords on all pages of the website. Don’t forget to add titles to all images and link back to each page of the site for easy searching. Add a site map which will also offer tarteted keywords.
User friendliness will keep your “would be buyers” on the site longer.
